Use of twitter

Twitter in academic area is used for many purposes, for example, users of twitter can interact with professionals and scholars of their related field. they can also share academic activities with their followers and can keep the followers up to date. useful links cab also be shared by students

Personal reflection on Macquarie University Tour

I found the visit of Macquarie university very useful. Many important issues were pointed out by the presenters, for example, they explained the entry pathways of the university which was important  not only to me but for the other students of TAFE who want to join this university too. furthermore, the requirements for scholarship as well as various other services offered by Macquarie university were also explained.

This aboriginal traditional art named (Djan’kawo creation story) by Mawalan Mrika  illustrating a journey of one brother and two sisters. I have chosen this art, because the story of it was interesting for me. During the travel on the land they name animals, vegetables and places. This art has been painted on dry bark and belongs to the North-East Arnhem.

Personal reflection on using diigo in the academic area

I found the use of diigo very helpful in the academic area, for example; students can save important websites and open them on any computer. High lightening the key points while studying a text online is another advantage of diigo in the academic area. Websites can be shared by diigo with others. Moreover, students are going to be able to make comments and annotation on websites and view annotations made by others. They can also Classify websites by titles notes and keyword tags as well as improve their learning skills by working in a group on diigo.

Reflection on email

The class of technology that I had on 25.aug.2017,  was very useful for me especially in the academic area. there were some programs which were new for me, for example; using of google drive for various purposes, whenever we save files in the google drive they will be securing of viruses as well as this drive is used for the purpose of sharing for example; in the academic a professor or a teacher can share a task through google drive with many students.

secondly, sending an email through bcc field to multiple recipient. bcc field has significant role in the academic area for example; when an assignment is sent with bcc field to more than on student, no one can see each others email addresses.

Thirdly, it is important to write an email correctly for example writing a clear title for a subject and putting footer and header in attachment are very important because when an email is sent with an unclear subject the teacher would not pay attention to that email.

finally, two steps verification in google account. it keeps our account save from being stolen by someone, and i applied this program to my personal Gmail account.
